Hello.  Welcome to my website. My name is Lenore and am also 
known as "Raven".  I love to read poetry and also have written 
some poetry of my own.  I decided to put some of mine up for 
others to read.  Hope you like them. 

My website had been down due to some problems my host had.  I 
am now my own server for my site.  I had been missing a lot of 
poems and files which I gotten back for you to view.  I have 
put up more new poetry I had written before which had not been
published before and I hope you like them too. I apologize for
taking so long to get these pages updated. I also hope you will
return to visit my site again. 

In this website you will also find poetry written by disabled 
poets, and other poetry that I have enjoyed reading. 

Another reason I have set up this website is to bring up 
awareness of several health issues I live with.  I was in an 
auto accident at a very young age which left me paralyzed 
from the waist down.  Presently, I also have to deal with 
Hepatitis C which I contracted with a blood transfusion I was 
given.  Also, I have been diagnosed with Diabetes and 
Osteoporosis.  There are other health problems that I deal 
with which I hate to bore you with but nevertheless, they 
exist in my life. Don't know if they are due to age or if 
they have been in some way brought on by the other health 
issues I live with.  

These issues are things which I have done searches to find all 
the information there is about them.  I have put links to some 
of those places which I believe give a lot of information to 
read.  I have also begun a website where I have put all the 
information about Hepatitis C in.  Have been thinking of doing 
the same with whatever information on diabetes I can find. I 
don't know if it will be possible since there are times I am 
not able to work on it due to hospitalizations. If Ido get it 
working, I will put a link on it here too.
  
I would like for all those who visit here to take a look and 
read some of the information on these health issues.  I believe 
that many times we don't think we may be affected by them but 
they do surprise us by entering our lifes at one time or another.  
It may not necessarily be us but it can also affect someone we 
care and are also related to.  So please read on these subjects.  
It may help you so much and also those in your lives.  

There is a lot of research being done on these illnesses or 
diseases, and there is also a need for support from everyone.  
I am certain that all those whose lives have been touched by 
these issues personally would surely appreciate to have them 
removed from their lives. We need support from all of you.  
Who knows maybe one day we may meet and have the opportunity 
to shake your hand and thank you for helping us get rid of them.  
Maybe you are the one who with your support may be getting us 
back to living a normal and healthy life.  Wouldn't you like to 
be included in the list of our supporters?
